Hemofarm Marked the End of a Successful Year
04. December 2014.
’Hemofarm has confirmed the leading position in the market and broke new ’personal’ records, using the synergy of best practices from Serbia and Germany, in spite of the challenging year for the pharmaceutical industry’, stressed Ronald Seeliger, director of the company Hemofarm, member of the STADA Group, at the traditional New Year’s reception of the company.

Compared to the last year, the production volume increased by 16% and a record high number of 4 billion tablets and capsules was produced, due to which Hemofarm is still the largest domestic producer and the major exporter in the pharmaceutical area.

We are a domestic company producing in Serbia and supplying the domestic market, but we represent also the greatest exporter in our field. Speaking in football terms, business is like football where team spirit is necessary. I like teams that play for the audience, but I know at the same time that the score is what actually counts at the end of the day’, said Ronald Seeliger and thanked his team and employees for excellent results in this year.

Among all the companies from Serbia, Hemofarm achieved also the best result of as much as 98% in inspecting the compliance of all company rules and procedures with BSCI code of conduct. The quality of business operations and production was confirmed by as many as 23 different inspections in the region, done in all parts of the company.

As social responsibility is one of the priorities and strategic orientation of the company Hemofarm, it was emphasized at the cocktail party, that even greater future focus of the company would be on the sustainable business operations and care for preservation of increasingly scarce resources for the well-being of future generations, but also on investing in domestic healthcare. ’Hemofarm Foundation started the third decade of its operations with new ideas, people and projects that will be implemented within the umbrella campaign WHOLEHEARTEDLY. Our wish is to implement the vision that motivates us all – to become the synonym of continuous and substantial contribution to development and improvement of society’, say the people from the company.

Hartmut Retzlaff, the Chairman of the Executive Board of STADA Group, the member of which Hemofarm has been for eight years already, said via video link that Hemofarm was one of the most significant pillars of the Group, that currently records more than two billion euros of revenue from sales and has over 10,000 employees world-wide.

The celebration of the company Hemofarm was attended by representatives of the state institutions, business sector, as well as large number of renowned people from the sphere of culture and healthcare.
